Cable Days Just Around The Corner
The Cable Center created Cable Days to educate, appreciate and celebrate the cable industry. Cable Days features three days of events including the Cable Center Smackdown (formerly known as the Cable Center Showdown), the Cable Hall of Fame Celebration recognizing the industry's best and brightest, the Key Issues Series, which each year covers high-profile issues for the industry.

Smackdown Event Description

The Cable Cable Center Smackdown is a raucous trivia challenge between several local cable non-profit organizations. Smackdown team participants will battle against each other in game show format for a $1,000 cash prize for their group, as well as bragging rights to the coveted Cable Center Smackdown trophy.
Cable Positive's Annual Musical Parody

The Denver Chapter of Cable Positive is proud to present its annual musical parody revue in conjunction with The Cable Center's Cable Days event. We will be performing our 14th show, "My Big Fat Greek Digital Dreading."

We'll be showing how industry demi-gods decide if they will link mere mortals with the divinely digital and how accounting and law-making tricksters teach us of the magic spells of cash flow metrics. Perhaps you'll catch a Greek chorus singing of their love of providing customer care in a four hour service window or travel with our hero on his quest for the perfect retransmission agreement.

And best yet, there'll be cable executives in cute, tight-fitting togas and tunics!
